A Free One-Shot Adventure
More than a week ago, the River Auren started behaving in a most peculiar way. It started to flow in the wrong direction. The question that has the village elders muttering in corners is “Why?”
The water is becoming saltier by the day, and the mill is holding together only in the merest sense of the word.
No one has been hurt… so far.
A quiet one-shot for 3–5 players at level 3, 5.5e-compatible, with a runtime of 2.25–3.5 hours. Built with love to be free.
A naiad's name has been taken from her. She is losing control of herself and the water around her. Made to be completable with minimum combat.
Where the Watermint Grows is a fey-adjacent adventure. It is lore-heavy and relies heavily on the Social and Exploration pillars of 5e. Some Combat is included for those who so desire.
A free PDF, available for download from DriveThruRPG or itch.io.
“My name…” She trails off, looking puzzled. “My name is… My name is…!” The naiad runs into the same wall each time. · Rue, at the pool above the weir
